Hello, my name is Christopher Bernal. I have been practicing massage therapy and holistic healing professionally since the fall of 2003 when I received my training under Bob and Myra Kelly at the Southern California school of massage in Riverside California. Since then I have become certified through the CAMTC, and have had the opportunity to learn from and work with some of the most prominent people in the Holistic Health field, like Susan Hernandez, Healer, and owner of A Touch of Heaven Day Spa on Catalina Island and world-famous Syng Kyu yu in Pomona, California, whom I regularly saw for my health and well-being on many occasions and to this day Continue to dissect, emanate, and incorporate his approach into my findings. I also have worked on thousands of clients from all over the world in the day spa industry and have had the opportunity to work under Dr. Sean and Dr. Shamus Sheridan at Sheridan Chiropractic, who hired me right out of massage school. They are just some of the people I have met in the healthcare industry who have helped me to understand the human body and how it can heal itself through a plant-based diet, clearing the body's energy pathways and recharging the body through rest. Throughout the years I have applied my knowledge and experience in massage and nutrition to numerous triathlons and endurance races with little or no training whatsoever. After doing my first Half Ironman Triathlon in December of 2014, I decided to work on obtaining my Certification as a Triathlon Coach so that I may help others reach their goals and to experience a higher level of living. As of September 2015, I began practicing in beautiful Solana Beach California at Foundation Yoga & Wellness Center, where a community of professionals has gathered to practice a combination of Holistic and Science-based modalities to clients from all walks of life. As of September 2016, I began Practicing in Encinitas California. In my spare time I enjoy spending as much time as possible with family, camping, Triathlons, surfing, open water swimming, Ocean Lifeguarding with Solana Beach Marine Safety Dept, science, philosophy, traveling, and anything outdoors or in the water where I can experience life and nature at its best.
